Best Easy Floral Arrangements:

1. Artificial Floral Bouquet (Bush)

Artificial Flower Arrangement Ideas

One of the best perks about buying and using an artificial floral bouquet (or bush) is it is already pre-made and assembled into an existing arrangement for you! Most of these artificial floral bouquets (or bushes) have additional greenery and accents and sometimes a variety of different types of flowers as well. You can choose whichever type of flower or colors that you love or are looking for, to add to whatever type of arrangement or setting you are working on.

And, you do not have to worry about how to arrange your different flowers and stems! All you have to do is fluff the flowers or adjust them (if needed) in case they accidentally got squished or because you want them to lay in a certain way. That is exactly what I did in the above picture.

Although these flowers may not be real, and for the record I absolutely love real flowers and their scents, with the advancements that have been made in the design and creation of artificial flowers over the years most of them look real. They definitely last longer and if you have allergies, like I do in the Spring and Summer, you do not have to worry about the pollen or drying leaves falling off nor any allergens that can make you sneeze.

I use artificial floral bouquets throughout my home and have them placed in spots that seemed to be lacking color or as a decor piece. I have so much fun decorating with artificial floral arrangements and I receive compliments on them all the time and I know you will too!

2. Two Artificial Floral Bouquets (Bushes)

Artificial Flower Arrangement Ideas

In the first section, we discussed using one artificial flower bouquet (bush) to use in a vase but why not combine two artificial flower bouquets (bushes)? I say absolutely! I love using this idea and again, it is soooooo easy!

You can make a more full floral bouquet by simply combining two floral bouquets together! That is literally what I did in the above picture by using two of the same flower bushes for one arrangement.

I am not sure about you, but it can be so cool to see how full and vibrant a flower arrangement can become by using two flower bouquets/bushes together.

An easy way to do this is simply to use two of the same types of artificial flower bushes and simply place one bush into the middle of the first one.  Place them in a vase of your choice, fluff them how you see fit, and bam! a beautiful and easy floral arrangement is ready to use and display.

And if you want, you can mix it up too. Add two color variations of the same type of flower bush or add another type of flower bush. This is the fun part, you can make it how you want.

I personally love using artificial peony and hydrangea bouquets/bushes!

3. Pre-made Easy Artificial Floral Bouquets in a Vase

Artificial Flower Arrangement Ideas

This is as easy as it can get! Depending on the theme and type of room you are decorating, you can find so many beautiful choices to choose from and places to buy them! My jam is perusing the aisles of HomeGoods and Hobby Lobby, oh and Michaels too, and wait, so many others too! and they have so many pre-made floral vase arrangements to choose from let alone online stores such as Amazon, Overstock, and Wayfair.

And I absolutely love the acrylic water they use in these arrangements so it looks like your flower arrangement has real water, and it won’t evaporate! In the above photo I found this beautiful white Magnolia arrangement at Home Goods.

You can do a more vintage style, or rustic or bold or a beautiful simple yet elegant arrangement. You can never go wrong with a beautiful neutral color, such as a white flower arrangement and add that final touch of decor that can really make your room come together.

4. Add Additional Stems & Greenery

Artificial Flower Arrangement Ideas

Building off of our earlier idea of decorating with a pre-made artificial (or silk or faux) flower arrangement in a vase, what about adding some additional flower stems and/or greenery to an existing arrangement!

And that can include adding not just artificial stems, but also real flowers and greenery. In the above photo, I added some additional small purple sprays to the top! One tip tho, you will need to eventually change out your real flower stem or greenery.

This is such a fun and simple way to add some extra color and texture to your arrangement! You can also keep your original flower arrangement as a base and change out the add-ins to reflect the different times of year and holidays!

5. Flower Picks-Easy Artificial Floral Arrangements

Artificial flower picks can be such a lifesaver when it comes to adding that extra touch to an existing floral arrangement, home decor piece, or even a a display!

Most flower picks are basically like a mini pre-made artificial floral spray or bouquet. You can add them into an existing arrangement or add and arrange them into a display, such as in my picture above of our djembe drum with a pillow from my sister on the top, in our family room with two sunflower picks arranged on the top! It added just that needed pop of color where our drum was.

I also added a couple artificial sunflower picks to the bottom corner of a sunflower picture my mom bought me years ago, in the picture below! So many ways to add an extra special finishing touch.

6. Artificial Floral Sprays

Artificial Flower Arrangement Ideas

I love love love using floral sprays! Not only do they sometimes have more than just one flower but they also usually have additional greenery and leaves yet they are less full than a bouquet/bush. The extra greens and leaves help add extra fullness to whatever arrangement you are working on.

They can create a beautiful yet simple arrangement. In the picture above I used two light green artificial ranunculus sprays with a hydrangea stem.

One of my favorite flowers to work with, in addition to peonies and hydrangeas and lillies, are the ranunculus flowers! How their petals are layered and their colors they are simply beautiful!

All you have to do is place 2-3 sprays in a vase, which I buy most of my flower vases for arrangements from the Dollar Tree or 99cent store, possibly trim the stems for height if needed and depending on what vase you use, and boom, you have an elegant yet simple flower arrangement!

7. Flowers With Unique Stems

DIY Floral arrangements

There is such beauty in unique flowers especially ones that have unique stems! It makes it a creative and fun way to make real or artificial flower arrangements to highlight the unique stems while using the same type of flower.

A perfect example of this as in the picture above using real flowers, are the beautiful Iceland Poppy flowers. The length and curves of the Iceland Poppy’s stems and layering of its petals makes for a unique, eclectic, yet very elegant and joyful flower arrangement.

There are multiple ways to arrange them such as just placing them in a vase with some water (if you use real), or for a more rustic look wrap some brown twine around them and make them in to a rustic flower bunch.

I love having these out during the summer!

8. Flower Blooms Floating on Water in a Dish

DIY Floral Arrangements

This is a simple yet elegant way to make an easy floral arrangement but only with the top blooms of the flower! With this idea I do recommend using real flowers so that your artificial flowers do not become saturated and possibly ruined.

In this picture rose blooms were used and they give off such a beautiful fragrance. Another favorite flower of mine to use is the gardenia. They are a soft white flower but the best part about this flower is its beautiful fragrance. My mom and grandma used to arrange flowers like this all the time when we were growing up.

Simply find a low laying bowl, fill it halfway or so with water, gently cut the top blooms of the flowers off from the stems, and lay them on top of the water. Depending upon how many flowers you have and the size of the bowl will determine how many blooms you will place in the water.

And wa-la! You have a floating floral arrangement.

Tip: if you use gardenias try not to touch the petals because they will turn brown quickly.

9. Floral Napkin Rings-Easy Artificial Floral Arrangements

Artificial Flower Arrangement Ideas

Floral napkin rings? You betcha! Napkin rings with flowers on them can be used as great floral accents and more.

In this picture I used two flower napkin rings as accents on a plate with an existing artificial floral arrangement in a pitcher. I could not find any similar flowers to lay on the plate and thought what the hay, I will try these and they worked! They had leaves on them and the rings were covered with green floral tape to give the impression they were partial stems!

This was an idea I was really happy to accidentally stumble upon and I know it will be something fun and easy you can try too!

10. Mini Wreaths

Artificial Flower Arrangement

Mini artificial flower wreaths, basically the same as floral candle rings, are also so fun and easy to work with. They can be a great base to your floral arrangement.

You can make a candle as the centerpiece of your wreath making a candle floral arrangement, place your vase in the center of the mini wreath, or any other type of item or decor piece that would work with the wreath.

I actually decided to use a mini wreath around our salt and pepper shakers and holder we have on our counter in our kitchen. Instead of having just a salt and pepper shaker combo in a wire holder, it turned it into a decor piece. It was easy and it added an extra touch of elegance to a kitchen item.

Here a couple alternative ideas below!

11. Bundle of the Same Flower

artificial flower arrangement

This is a great, simple and elegant way to make a floral arrangement!

There are so many flowers that can hold their own when creating a flower arrangement with using the same flower. This is a beautiful Stargazer lilly  arrangement in the picture above but you can use Gerbara daisies, Calla lillies, sunflowers, ranunculus as mentioned earlier, roses, hydrangeas, peonies, and the list goes on!

You can buy a bundle of real flowers and trim the bottoms of the stems and place them in a vase of water and wa-la! Or, to make it last longer purchase artificial flowers and place in a vase.

12. Succulent Plants-Easy Floral Arrangements

I am not sure about you but I haven’t always thought of succulents as flowers but as plants, but when you think about it, look at their design as in the photo of a few mini artificial succulents I have at my home. Many of the real and artificial succulents either actually flower (or have flower blossoms added to them), look like a flower, or both! And the colors that these types of plant have are absolutely beautiful!

They are so much fun to add as an accent decor piece to a bookshelf, in your office or desk, on a kitchen counter, in your bathroom, and many other choices.

You truly can’t go wrong with either the real or the artificial succulent plant as improvising for having an easy floral arrangement!

13. Flower Petals in a Dish

Artificial Flower Arrangement

Using flower petals can be such a clever and eclectic yet elegant way to add some floral design and color to the decor of your room or office etc.

This idea was inspired to me from my wedding! We sprinkled flower petals all around the ceremony seating area but why not try using them as decor in displays in my home? So I said yes! what the hey, let’s give it a whirl!

And boom, I tried it in one of my favorite decor pieces of a ceramic bird dish. But you can also try a shallow wooden dough(bread) bowl for a more rustic look! I also decided to try including some loose Eucalyptus leaves with the petals to add a little green to the design. I will include with my suggestions below too!

This truly is a fun way to incorporate flowers in the decorating of your home, or office, or whatever setting you are working on! And yes, it is easy!

Check out a few suggestions below to try this idea out!
